This Spring the decision was made to grow everything we can to use in our body products. The year started out slow and when the plants caught up, I was busy everyday picking herbs to dry. I will harvest even the smallest amount because it all adds up in the end.

In Pacific Northwest the flu is rising with 7 victims right here in Lane County. Th elderly and babies are at a high risk and flu shots are still available. Elderberry tea is great for the flue as well as an elderberry syrup for the throat.
The infusions I have had on the shelf are ready to be strained and used in the different recipes we have for salves, face creams and lotion bars. Infusions can be just some tea slipped into the right
temperature of water. We let it infuse for 3 minutes and it is done. When we make an herbal infusion it can infuse for as long as an hour if one wants. Drinking herbal infused water is great for our bodies. So I decided to write down the different ways to infuse herbs.
My goal I have for my business is to help others feel better. It is that simple to say, but putting it into action is another thing.
